I guess the rumor that singer Mariah Carey was going to make a bid on the $125 million Beverly Hills mansion Fleur De Lys was just that, as Carey has purchased Farrah Fawcett’s old estate for a mere $7 million , down $2.5 million from the original asking price.

$4.2 Million Dog Tiara

Thai jewelry designer Riwin Jirapolsek has recently created a $4.2 million dog tiara for his 15-year-old male Maltese.  Yes, you heard me right.  Oh, and did I mention that the stones he used to adorn the tiara were a gift from his mother? Jirapolsek created the tiara using titanium, and 250 carats of emeralds and diamonds.  I suppose the luxury market is now going to the dogs…

Nicole Murphy Puts Calabasas Estate On the Market, Again

Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife Nicole hasn’t been able to make up her mind if she wants to sell her Calabasas area estate.  The Oaks property has been on the luxury realty market and off since 2007, and it looks like it’s back on again. The Spanish-hacienda-style home features beautiful high ceilings, crown molding throughout, amazing windows, terra cotta flooring and a spacious wine cellar.  In the past this southern California home has been listed as high as $9.995 million, we’re now seeing this luxury home at $8.495 million .
