By LAWRENCE TAN The Maybach brand is due for a major revamp with a little help from Aston Martin, but until that tie-up becomes official, Daimler AG is content to announce yet another limited edition of the super-luxe limousines. This time, they have looked to the 1930s and an airship for the latest iteration of the 57 and 62: the Maybach Zeppelin. Stuttgart has gone to great lengths to make these two behemoths their most ostentatious yet

How often have you flipped through the pages of your favorite magazine, admired a pair of shoes and wondered where you can buy them? Or maybe you’ve got the shoes in mind when you step into a department store but you’re unable to find them amongst all the other shoes– or worst of all, they don’t have your size?

By ASHOK SOMAN Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their Polo watch, Swiss watchmaker and jeweler Piaget unleashed an entire new collection at SIHH and boldly entered a new segment: the bona fide sports watch. The Piaget Polo FortyFive is both bold and casual, at 45mm in diameter and cased in grade 5 titanium. Having just debuted at the recently concluded SIHH, it is surprising that the watch has turned up on the wrist of Hong Kong superstar Leon Lai.

by Roberta Murphy This video really has nothing to do with luxury, luxury homes or anything of the sort. But, it has a lot to do with a big, big heart, quick action and enormous courage–and the compelling story of how one dog bravely saves the life of another

It’s no wonder that in the state where so many are facing foreclosures that two luxury resorts are closing their doors. Scottsdale, Arizona’s W Scottsdale as well as their InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa will be shutting down for good as they were unable to keep their heads above water during the current economic downturn. While the W Scottsdale and Montelucia are still open for your luxury needs, both are scheduled to close up shop later in the year. Poor Arizona.

Let me guess - you’ve been single for so many years that you sort of just forgot that hell has frozen over and pigs have flown and you actually have a sweetheart to shop for this Valentine’s Day ! And since you failed to remember until just now that February 14th (as in tomorrow ) isn’t just another day on the calendar this time around (an honest mistake), you’re pretty much just planning to show up empty-handed and present-less on the big night with the assumption that your sympathetic sweetie will “understand.” Lucky for you, unless your honey came up with the genius idea to hand-make your gifts this year (and in turn has set you both up for a Chandler-and-Monica style hand-puppet fiasco), this little problem of yours can easily be solved with a super-quick dash to your nearest Walgreens or Target .

I have only used a fountain pen once, and that was to sign my name. The fountain pen wasn’t mine, but when I used it, I felt very old world, like I’ve been transported back in time when everything was big and grand. I’m sure grand is just the right word to describe the new Limited

North Wales has to be one of the most enchanting places in the UK, from the high snowy peaks of Mount Snowdon to the miles of untouched coastline and sandy beaches… It’s one of those places I’ve been waiting for an excuse to go back to since I was 10, and an invite to review the The Quay Hotel & Spa in Deganwy was all I needed! Approximately a 4 hour drive from London it’s not an unreasonable distance for a last minute get away from the ‘Big Smoke’… especially if you’re looking for stunning views, fresh air and a huge variety of activities. Boredom up here is not an option! Not quite sure what to expect, we arrived at The Quay Hotel & Spa in good time and was surprised to see the amount of property development that has taken place over the past few years. Situated in the heart of this new development was The Quay hotel, which from first impressions lacked the ‘country retreat character’ we were perhaps expecting.
